Virtual reality to present Masats Platform Doors

The SITCE Exhibition and Congress was held from 9th to 11th July in Singapore.

Masats presented an electric sliding door at its stand as well as an innovative way to demonstrate its PSD platform doors: virtual reality. A system was set up at the stand to allow those attending to experience the doors at a virtual underground station where they can see how the doors are installed at the platform, configure the different modules available to produce the complete platform and interact with the doors to see how they operate.

The show was jointly organised by the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA), the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and the LTA subsidiary, MSI Global Pte Ltd.

Masats is a public transport leader in Singapore. In collaboration with local operator SMRT, more than 800 vehicles travel the city with Masats electric swing or sliding doors.
